"The Board of Directors of DICOMOL has decided to appoint Estela Sanchez Aparicio as General Director."

After more than 40 years at the head of the DICOMOL Company, Mr. Francisco Sánchez will be substituted for the new General Director, Estela Sanchez Aparicio.

The Board of Directors, unanimously, has considered carrying out this change in the General Management after its trajectory within the company for more than 20 years consolidated with the completion of a General Management Program at IESE business school (PDG-2- 2017).

During last years she has been piloting actions in the company's strategy as redirect an industrial company of the mould sector towards a line of industrial solutions, reinforcing the message of #NOTonlyMOULDS as well as the new project # Dicomol2020.

Estela is also promoting the involvement and participation of the new generation’s #milenials who are joining the company. She is also interested to make the presence of women more visible in this traditional sector, promoting the #IndustriaMesDona group without forgetting the work she does in training people for the sector through #FPDual or even taking institutional positions in some employers organizations linked to #metal industry.

The imminent inauguration of the new facilities is the beginning of this new personal and family step in which Mr. Francisco Sánchez will continue forming part of the Board of Directors shared years ago with Estela and also with Daniel Altimiras. Among other occupations, Mr. Sánchez will continue as a mentor of the 2nd generation, due to his extensive experience in the sector and would like to share "how steel spoke to him."

It is clear that the current situation generated by COVID 19 has slowed down some actions or decisions especially investments planned in the new location but it is still a priority to continue the target set by the Board of Directors few months ago with Estela already managing the project.
